Larry Gill

Who is Larry Gill?

Yes, I’m a trouble maker.  I admit it, but it does keep life interesting!

I am so excited that this conference is coming together!  A special THANK YOU to all who are attending, and also another huge THANK YOU to all our speakers and sponsors.  This event would not have been possible without your support.

For those of you who don’t know, Marishka, my wife, was diagnosed with cancer last fall.  Now that I got that out of the way…She’s doing GREAT!  After several months of chemo, drugs, scans, doctor’s visits, cryoablation, and more tests — There is NED, or No Evidence of Disease!  While it’s been a huge challenge, we’re very optimistic.  (Still going through tests and such. In December we’ll need to go to California for more tests, and then we have to go to Kauai for more R&R!  Doctor’s orders!)

Now just imagine — Marishka’s going through chemotherapy treatments, and she’s trying to relax in her recliner one evening.  I come home from a meeting.  I enthusiastically say to her, “We’re going to be producing a big real estate event in Coeur d’Alene!”   How well do you think that went over?  LOL  Not so great.  But here we are.  (She’s also now thrilled that the conference has come together.)  So early on this year, it was apparent to me that I had to step up and take care of certain business things that Marishka always handled.  What do I decide to do?  Let’s throw a party, and maybe include some education!  Told you.  I’m a troublemaker.  (Actually, we also took this time to get more organized with systems, and check into some different forms of investing.)

Over the next few weeks, we leveraged our friends both locally and across the country to come to North Idaho.  And with the help of our friend and co-producer Kelly Clark, I believe this event is going to be a success.  (Fingers crossed.  Please don’t throw me off the boat if it isn’t!)

I’ve often believed that in business, it’s not always what you know, but it’s who you know.  I like to surround myself with smart people.   I treat those relationships with respect and dignity.  Notice how earlier I mentioned the word “leveraged”?  To be honest, I am amazed at the incredible response we had from our invited speakers.  These folks are coming to North Idaho from all over to help us put on this event.

Onto the next real estate wave, I say.  Over our 15+ years of investing, we’ve done many types of deals including private lending, lease options, rentals, seller financing, mortgage note investing, land investing, coaching, and consulting.  There will be many people at this event that we’ve done deals with, hired as coaches, learned from, utilized their services, or helped with their RE transactions.  Be always learning, and networking is a key component to your success.

Thank you for your support.  We hope the event is a success for you.
